Consumer Unit Changes

Your consumer unit (Fuse Box) is the centre of your home electrical system and it's correct operation and design is the key to your safety. The latest modern units have built-in dual RCD's (Residual Current Device) - A system that cuts the power should a fault occur - saving potential shock.

Units are more easily replaced and cost less than you think to do so. Full testing and certification through NIC-EIC is always carried out on completion, giving you complete peace of mind.

Office and Home business Testing

Testing is a practical necessity for many home or business owners. For example, if you are a landlord, holiday cottage owner or have a business with employees, it is recommended that you have your electrical system periodically tested. Failure to do either can invalidate your home, business or public liability insurance. Portable Appliance Testing (P.A.T.) is also recommended annually, with more frequently inspections in hazardous areas (workshops etc).
